I am a director and dp who grew up with a fast-paced, down and dirty, get after it with whatever resources are available, style approach, shooting on location across the globe in every continent sans Antarctica.
I have worked on hundreds of productions in branded content, documentary, live music, and commercial spaces.
My work is very real and natural, using human motion as an invitation for camera movement. My approach to the image is to elevate the natural and make it feel as though the audience is able to connect with the characters in a realistic way.
I pride myself on finding humanity in every production. If we can find a way to connect the human on the screen to the human watching and listening, I feel the image carries the most weight.
That sounded way too rehearsed. Film is a medium I am studying to be able to elevate the human experience - I am really just a cog in the machine, constantly looking for educational opportunities to expand my ability to translate language through moving images.
